Just Plain Wrong

The Power of the Come-Apart: A Conversation with the hosts of the Uncovered: Life Beyond Podcast, Naomi Clark and Rebecca Coblentz

The MennoBrarians Season 6 Episode 7

This week we chat with the Naomi Clark and Rebecca Coblentz, co-hosts of the podcast Uncovered: Life Beyond. The goal of the Uncovered podcast is to provide a roadmap for people leaving high-demand religion, particularly focused on applying for and navigating college. Naomi and Rebecca share with us their journeys away from the Beachy Amish communities they grew up in, and their own experiences navigating college. We also discuss Amish schooling, Wisconsin v Yoder, and the importance of the 40-year-old "Come Apart."

Amish Descendant Scholarship Fund: This scholarship fund provides financial assistance to those from plain communities wanting to pursue college. Visit the website to apply for the scholarship, or to make a donation to the scholarship fund.
